Citizenship Classes
Refugees desire to belong and to contribute to their new country. Becoming a citizen is an important step in this process. Preparing for the U.S. Naturalization Exam becomes a major focus for refugees once they have passed the four year mark of their permanent residency.
Imagine learning history and government of another country in a language other than your own native language! These classes help adults, especially those on a Beginning Level of English, to learn about U.S History and Government through interactive and hands-on activities. It is an exciting place to be with friends to learn and encourage one another along this important path.
